In conjunction with the Ashland Artist Group's upcoming art show,
"Bridges of Boone County," youngsters will be asked to design their own bridge
entirely from Lego bricks. The winning artist will receive a prize and have
their artwork displayed at the Boone County National Bank in Ashland.
Cosponsored by the Friends of the Southern Boone County Public Library and
Ashland Artists Group. Ages 6 and  older.

Things are moving right along with the upcoming July art show.  A couple of us are going to go see a muscial group tomorrow evening at the Ragtag Theater.  Pippa Letsky is one of the members and has agreed to play at our reception on July 19th.  She is also going to give the show a plug on KOPN radio. 

Also, I have been in contact with Brandy at the Daniel Boone Library and they will give us a plug on their newsletter for the corresponding Legomania they will have on July 14th.  They will have the children create "bridges" with the Legos and we will choose a winner that will be displayed at the reception.  The winner will also receive a big basket of art supplies.  How fun is that?!

Wow...this is really starting to turn into something good.
